As an Events Designer who focuses mostly on mega festivals and large scale events sometimes I just really love going to showcases that have nothing to do with isphithiphithi…
Last Friday evening I decided to attend the Palse Homme & Femme Spring/Summer 2018 Collection Show at SAFW 2018. Although I’m a failed modla, I still like fashion shows, the vibe is always pretty dope. I really liked the Palse runway soundtrack but I thought the show was slightly too short.
At one point in the show I kept wondering why all the ladies let out a massive applause and loud screams when a short buff guy walked the runway, only to realise that it was “Mr Yeah Yeah” aka Donald rocking the runway. I must say though, short people look rather weird on the runway. Lol
I must say, I really loved the Palse collection that was displayed, not only are the designs incredible, most of the items are readily available in store. I even spotted 2 pretty cool tops which I’m planning to go purchase sometime this week. The shirts go for about R1200 each.
For someone who is new to the fashion week thing I have always wondered, is there a reason why Designers don’t sell clothes after the shows or have pop up stores during fashion week?
Congratulations on a beautiful show!
